Privacy and Information Requests
TrueVoice Communications CC has appointed Lee Wilmus as its Information Officer in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Any requests relating to access to information, personal information, corrections, objections, or privacy enquiries should be submitted to privacy@truevoice.co.za.
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of TrueVoice AI.
By using the platform, you agree to use the services responsibly and lawfully.
1. Purpose
TrueVoice AI provides AI-generated voice services for legitimate business and personal use.
Users are responsible for ensuring that all content created or distributed using the platform complies with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Permitted Use
Users may use the platform for:
- Business audio messages.
- Marketing material.
- Telephone systems and IVR prompts.
- Presentations and training material.
- Educational content.
- Social media and multimedia projects.
- Personal projects.
3. Prohibited Uses
Users may not use the platform for:
Fraud and Deception
- Scams.
- Financial fraud.
- Identity theft.
- Misrepresentation.
- Phishing.
Impersonation
- Pretending to be another person without permission.
- Misleading listeners into believing synthetic voices are real individuals.
- Creating deceptive deepfakes.
Illegal Activity
- Violating laws or regulations.
- Harassment.
- Blackmail.
- Threats.
- Extortion.
Hate Speech and Harmful Content
- Racist or discriminatory content.
- Content promoting violence.
- Content encouraging self-harm.
- Terrorism or extremist material.
Defamation
- False statements intended to damage the reputation of individuals or organisations.
Spam and Abuse
- Mass unsolicited communications.
- Attempts to overload or disrupt the platform.
- Circumventing security measures.
- Reverse engineering the platform.
4. Voice Rights and Permissions
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that they have the right to use any names, scripts or material submitted to the platform.
Users may not falsely imply endorsement by another person, organisation or public figure.
5. Artificial Intelligence Limitations
AI-generated voices are synthetic and may not perfectly reproduce pronunciation, tone, emphasis or pacing.
Users are responsible for reviewing generated audio before use.
TrueVoice AI does not guarantee perfect results.
6. Human Review and Enforcement
TrueVoice AI reserves the right to:
- Investigate misuse.
- Suspend or terminate accounts.
- Remove content where legally required.
- Refuse service where misuse is suspected.
- Cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
7. Account Suspension
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for:
- Fraud.
- Illegal activity.
- Abusive conduct.
- Repeated violations of this policy.
- Payment fraud or chargeback abuse.
Suspension or termination does not automatically entitle users to refunds.
8. Limitation of Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for:
- Scripts they submit.
- Content they create.
- How generated audio is distributed or used.
TrueVoice AI is not responsible for damages or claims arising from the misuse of generated content.

Suspected misuse or unlawful activity may be reported to:

10. Changes to this Policy
TrueVoice AI reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
