Privacy and Information Requests
TrueVoice Communications CC has appointed Lee Wilmus as its Information Officer in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Any requests relating to access to information, personal information, corrections, objections, or privacy enquiries should be submitted to privacy@truevoice.co.za.
This Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of TrueVoice AI.
By purchasing a package, subscribing to a plan or using the platform, you agree to this policy.
1. Nature of the Service
TrueVoice AI provides digital products and services, including AI-generated audio, downloadable files, subscriptions and professional voice services.
Because audio generation consumes processing resources and third-party services, completed generations cannot be reversed once produced.
2. One-Off Packages
One-off packages are intended for single-purchase use.
Once audio generation has commenced, purchases are generally non-refundable.
Unused credits and storage periods remain subject to the package limitations and expiry periods.
3. Subscription Services
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle users to refunds for the current subscription period.
Access continues until the end of the paid period.
4. Customer Cancellations
Customers may cancel subscriptions at any time.
Cancellation:
- Stops future renewals.
- Does not affect previous charges.
- Does not entitle customers to partial-month refunds.
- Does not cancel charges already processed.
5. Refund Requests
Refund requests may be considered in cases involving:
- Duplicate payments.
- Billing errors.
- Technical failures that prevent service delivery.
- Incorrect charges caused by system errors.
Each request will be reviewed individually.
6. No Refunds for Dissatisfaction with AI Output
Artificial intelligence is not perfect.
Refunds will generally not be granted because:
- Pronunciation differs from expectations.
- Tone or pacing is unsatisfactory.
- Certain words are not pronounced correctly.
- A different voice would have been preferred.
- The generated audio does not meet subjective expectations.
Users are responsible for reviewing and selecting voices before publishing or using generated audio.
7. Human Voice and Professional Services
Human voice recordings, script writing and managed services may involve production work and labour costs.
Once work has commenced, refunds may not be available.
Specific projects may be subject to separate quotations and agreements.
8. Failed Payments
TrueVoice AI reserves the right to suspend access where payments fail or remain outstanding.
Access may be restored once payment has been successfully completed.
9. Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact TrueVoice AI before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension.
- Termination of services.
- Recovery of outstanding amounts.
- Restriction from future use of the platform.
10. Third-Party Service Interruptions
TrueVoice AI relies on third-party providers including ElevenLabs, PayFast, Cloudflare and Supabase.
Temporary interruptions caused by these providers do not automatically entitle customers to refunds.
11. Service Credits
At the discretion of TrueVoice AI, service credits, additional generations or account extensions may be offered instead of monetary refunds.
12. Changes to this Policy
TrueVoice AI reserves the right to amend this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated version.
