Privacy and Information Requests
TrueVoice Communications CC has appointed Lee Wilmus as its Information Officer in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Any requests relating to access to information, personal information, corrections, objections, or privacy enquiries should be submitted to privacy@truevoice.co.za.
This policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of TrueVoice AI.
By using the platform, users acknowledge the limitations of artificial intelligence technologies.
1. AI Is Not Perfect
TrueVoice AI uses artificial intelligence and third-party voice technologies.
Users acknowledge that:
- Pronunciation may not always be correct.
- Tone, emphasis and pacing may vary.
- Different voices may produce different results.
- Names, abbreviations and technical terms may require adjustment.
- AI-generated speech is synthetic and not human.
Generated audio is provided "as is".
2. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for:
- Reviewing all generated audio.
- Verifying pronunciation and accuracy.
- Testing audio before publication or distribution.
- Ensuring suitability for their intended purpose.
TrueVoice AI does not guarantee perfect results.
3. No Guarantee of Outcomes
TrueVoice AI does not guarantee:
- Marketing success.
- Increased sales.
- Improved customer engagement.
- Regulatory compliance.
- Suitability for every application.
4. Human Voice Differences
Human voice recordings and AI voices are different products.
AI voices may not always reproduce the nuances and emotion of human voice artists.
5. Third-Party Dependencies
TrueVoice AI relies on services including:
- ElevenLabs
- PayFast
- Cloudflare
- Supabase
Interruptions or limitations affecting these services may affect platform performance.
6. Experimental Features
Certain features may be introduced as beta or experimental features.
These features may change, be improved or be removed without notice.
7. No Emergency or Critical Use
TrueVoice AI services are not intended for:
- Emergency communications.
- Medical advice.
- Legal advice.
- Safety-critical systems.
- Life-support applications.
Users must not rely on the platform where failure could result in injury, damage or loss of life.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, TrueVoice AI shall not be liable for losses arising from:
- Incorrect pronunciation.
- Unsatisfactory voice output.
- AI errors.
- Service interruptions.
- Third-party outages.
- User reliance on generated content.
9. Changes to This Policy
TrueVoice AI reserves the right to amend this policy from time to time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated versions.
